            Technology is a great tool for teachers.  This class has helped me learn many valuable tools.  I think I am starting to understand google doc´s.  I have had problems using this tool in the past.  It was my fault, though.  I didn´t have the time and patience to try to figure it out.  I am glad google doc´s was in our syllabus.

            Ok, I take it all back. I finally figured out this weeks assignment.   I always struggle to understand google docs. It doesn´t seem logical to me.  I am going to try it again.  I want to make a quiz for the class I am student teaching.

            I am experiencing the trials of technology.   I am at a school where there is a huge technology problem.  It is extremely frustrating to all the teachers. It will be a great asset someday but right now I am frustrated. I just want my pen and paper!

Tech Class

I am taking a technology class order to learn how to use technology in the classroom. 

I have learned how to set up a twitter account.  It is a great way for students to communicate.  I can use Twitter to remind students of the events happening in our class.

I have also created in account on SymbalooEDU.  It is a way to create a personal learning environment. It is for teachers to organize great web sites.

I can have students work in groups to explore topics.  I also plan to use this account for my students’ research reports.

Last but not least I have learned about GlogsterEDU.  This tool allows is used to make interactive posters.  I plan to use GlogsterEDU for a project in my Spanish class here at the University.  It is a fun way to put together different resources of a certain topic. 

I am excited to learn new tools to improve my teaching abilities.
